About the Driver

Dennis George currently works as a design engineer at The Boeing Company in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania. He is responsible for the design and testing of the transmissions in the CH-47 "Chinook" tandem rotor heavy lift helicopter.

The primary objective of Dennis George is to participate in each NOPI Drift Series event. Ultimately he would like to win each event and become one of the top drifters in the United States. He plans to achieve these goals by properly preparing the car and performing the best he can at each event. At each competition, his performance will be scored by a panel of judges based on speed, angle, line and style.

Dennis George has many years of experience ranging from auto mechanics to mechanical engineer as well as fabricating and racing. He has always had a love for cars and the engienering behind them. He began racing in 1999 by participating in the SCCA Club Racing Enduro Series at Road Atlanta, Carolina Motorsports Park and Daytona. By 2003, he began to notice a nwe sport from Japan called Drifting. He became an active participant at DGTrials events, an organization hosting amateur drift events where people can practice and learn how to drift.

He became so involved that within the first year he was given the title of South East Region President. DGTrials has led the way in drifting in Atlanta, offering the first private event with personalized instruction.

By 2006, Dennis George had competed in many drift competitions in Georgia, Florida, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia and Pennsylvania and has received recognition as well as top placements. Dennis moved to Pennsylvania in 2006 and became DGTrials' North East Region President.
